Family was very important to Tony. He used to say that he only worked to live, he didn't live to work! He enjoyed cooking and feeding his family and friends. If you left his house hungry it was your own fault!
His home was where he was the happiest! He enjoyed gardening, and working around the house. He also liked camping and being outdoors. He cherished his morning coffee with Nick and watching football with Levi. He was an avid Steelers fan.
Besides his wife Heidi of 17 years of Skowhegan, he leaves his two sons; Nicholas Hayden and his wife Aislynne of Skowhegan, Levi Hayden of Skowhegan, his mother and father-in-law, Ronald and Gail Perry of Cornville, three sisters, his mother, several nieces, nephews and many friends that were like family.
He was predeceased by his father Ronald Hayden, his grandparents; Norman and Effie Hayden.
Tony lived by the motto, "Hope for the best, expect the worst, and take whatever comes your way."
