Athens- Paul G. Anton, 35, of Athens passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2016.
He was born in Skowhegan on December 2, 1980 to Guy Anton and Venessa (Post) Anton.
He attended Athens Elementary School and graduated from Madison High School in 1999.
Paul married Katie Jewell on September 2, 2000.
Paul and Katie have three beautiful children that they love very much, Emma, Natalie, and Jacob. He was an extremely loving father and husband.
He was a self-employed logger, who loved working in the woods, being outside and working with his hands.

He attended Athens Elementary School and graduated from Madison High School in 1999.
Paul married Katie Jewell on September 2, 2000.

He was a 4H leader in the Athens Country Kids 4H Club.
Paul is survived by his wife Katie and their children Emma, 8, Natalie, 4, and Jacob,2 of Athens, his parents, Guy and Venessa Anton of Athens, one sister, Alison Davis and her husband, Chris of Cornville, grandfather, Robert Post of Athens, grandmother, Mary Ann Anton of Athens, many Nieces and Nephews, several Aunts and Uncles.
He is predeceased by one grandmother, Gloria Post, one grandfather, Carl Anton, two cousins, Tonya Post and Shannon Post.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
Celebration of Paul's life will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Skowhegan Federated Church, Island Ave., Skowhegan, Maine, with the Rev. Mark Tanner officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Rest Cemetery in Athens.
